Uzbekistan Airways’ representative office in Saint-Petersburg

      On March 10, 2023, the representative office of Uzbekistan Airways JSC in Saint-Petersburg, with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan and AeroTour, held a solemn event for tour operators and Russian travel companies dedicated to the transition to the 2023 summer flight schedule of Uzbekistan Airways.

Representatives of the media, top managers of Saint-Petersburg travel companies and the leadership of the Air Gates of the northern capital - Pulkovo Airport were invited to the meeting.

Khushnud Artykov, a representative of Uzbekistan Airways JSC in Saint-Petersburg, introduced the guests to the airline’s spring-summer schedule for 2023 from Pulkovo Airport and spoke about new international routes. During the event, it was also noted new transit opportunities of Tashkent for passengers from Russia traveling to Europe and Asia.

The honorary speakers who delivered a welcoming speech were the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Saint-Petersburg, Alisher Mamazhonovich Babaev, who spoke about the strengthening of tourism and business ties between the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan.

A lively response from Russian tour operators was caused by the presentation of the AeroTour company, which revealed the topic of group transportation on Uzbekistan Airways flights, which makes it possible to form organized groups of tourists to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Travel companies of Saint-Petersburg discussed with the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Saint-Petersburg, a representative of Uzbekistan Airways and AeroTour employees issues on booking air tickets to Uzbekistan, the airline’s flight program, received information about tourism opportunities in Uzbekistan, and also negotiated cooperation.
