Fare Rules for Uzbekistan Airways

The contract between the passenger and the airline for the provision of passenger transportationservices is considered concludedafter payment of the full cost of transportationindicated in the issuedticket. 

At any timebefore the final confirmation of the payment of the ticket by anyof the payment methodsused, the passenger mayrefuse to conclude a contract of carriage ifany of the terms of such a contract are unacceptableto him.

The rules for the application of tariffs for thesale of passenger transportationand relatedservices may be changed by the airline without priornotice. If the contract of carriage has already been concluded, suchamendments to thiscontract of carriage do notapply. However, if a passenger decides to change the terms of an already concludedcontract of carriage, histicket will be reissuedtaking into account the rules for the application of tariffs in forceat the time of the change in the contract of carriage.

The ticket is validfor flightsin a strictsequence of the transportationroute indicated on the ticket, startingfrom the point of departure. The ticket is valid for the flight on the route,flight, date andclass of service indicatedin itonly forthe personin whosename it is issued. 

If the passenger does not intend to use the seat reserved forhim onany part of the flight and at the same time has not refused thereservation provided to him,then:

• For theinternational transportation route, if the passenger fails to arrive at the departure of the flight, the airline will cancel the reservation onall subsequentsections of the transportation route withoutnotifying the passenger. The ticket of such a passenger may subsequentlybe reissuedor refundedwith the application of penalty feesprovided for in the fare rulesapplied to pay for the original ticket.;

1. for a transportationroute issuedonly ondomestic routes of the Republic of Uzbekistan, if the passenger does not show up for the flightdeparture, the airline will not cancel the reservation of seats onsubsequent sections of the route followingthe unusedsection. The passenger will be able to use the reserved seat forhim on the subsequent sections of the transportation route indicatedin histicket. However, whenapplying for a refund of the cost of an unused section(s), only the amount of airportfees forsuch “missed”sections of the route is subject to refund. Tickets issuedfor transportationon domesticroutes with unused/missedsections of the route alsocannot be reissued.

A change in the booking in the issued flight ticket is made at the passenger’s request if the newbooking does not require a change in the fare, does notviolate the conditions of its applicationand does not require a change in the airline originallyindicated on the flight ticket.

In this case, if the departure date is changed and thealternative flight has seats of the same bookingclass asin the original booking, the departure/flight date ischanged in thebooking record. 

A ticket that has already been issued can be reissued at the passenger’s requestif:

 - this is allowed by the terms of the fare appliedto pay for transportation; 

- changing the booking in the issued flight ticket leads to the need to change the tariff and/or routeand/or carrier.

FEES CHARGEDAT THE CONCLUSION ANDEXECUTION OF A PASSENGER TRANSPORTATIONCONTRACT

In addition to the passenger transportation fare, the followingfees, taxes, and surchargesmay be charged: 

• Taxes and fees leviedin favorof stateand airportauthorities – state and/ormunicipal fees, suchas environmental,tourist, immigration, customs servicefees andother feesimposed by state and/ormunicipal authorities, departments of countries from,through the territory to which international transportation is carried out andothers. These fees are included in the amount of the transportation payment and, if the passenger refusestransportation, they are subject to refundfor unusedsections of the flight indicated on the ticket, regardlessof the type of fareused topay for the ticket. 
• Airport fees charged in favorof airports –fees forpassenger service, aviationsecurity, payment for the use of airport infrastructure,etc. These fees are included in the amount of the transportation payment and, if the passenger refuses transportation, they are subject to refund for unusedsections of the flight indicated on the ticket, regardlessof the type of fareused topay for the ticket. 
• Airline fees,which includetwo separatecategories:

1. Fees, which are an integralpart of the total cost of the contract of carriage:

-fuel fee, the amount of which depends on the length of the passenger routeand the cost of fuelat the departure airports;

-the fee for the use of automatedbooking systems throughwhich theairline's services are provided.

2. Fees that are not anintegral part of the totalcost of the contract of carriageand are charged forvarious additional servicesprovided by the airline at the passenger’s request:

• fees forvoluntary change of departuredate, ticket reissue, ticketrefund, fee formaking changes to the passenger’s first and/or last name(Change name) andother feesrelated to ticketservice;
• penalty fees(penalties, penalties) leviedto partiallycompensate for losses andlost profitsif a passengerfails to comply with the terms of the originally concludedcontract of carriage, suchas a feefor non-attendance on a flight on which the passenger had a reservedseat (No-Show), a fee forrefusal of carriage(Refund).
• feescharged for varioustypes of services offered by the airline in addition to the basic standard service(fees for baggage transportation in excess of the free baggageallowance set by the carrier,fees forpre-selectionand booking of seats on board the aircraft, fees foradditional services provided to passengers of special categories(for example, a fee for the transportation of an unaccompanied child under the supervision of airline staff),provision of additional paidmeals at the passenger’s choice , etc.)
