Spare lithium batteries, includinglithium metal orlithium-ion cells, orbatteries designed toprovide electricity to other devices, are allowed to be carriedwith apassenger’s personal belongings(Hand luggage), which are placed under the passengerseat infront of the flight, subject to the following conditions:

  1. not more than 2 lithium-ionbatteries, including externalbatteries with a specific powerexceeding 100 Whbut notexceeding 160 Whor lithium–metalbatteries with a lithiumcontent exceeding 2g butnot exceeding8 gapproved for usewith portablemedical electronic devices(PMED), such asautomated external defibrillators(AED), portable oxygenconcentrators (POC) andCPAP –continuous positive airwaypressure ventilators;
  2. each spare battery, includingexternal batteries, mustbe protectedfrom shortcircuit (using the originalfactory packaging orby isolating the terminals, i.e., blocking the contacts with electrical tape orplacing each batteryin a separateplastic bag orprotective bag);
  3. batteries, including external batteries(power bank), are prohibitedfor carriagein checkedbaggage.

    During the passenger’s stay on board the aircraft, batteries, includingexternal batteries (powerbank):

  • must not be charged usingpower sourcesplaced in the seat/onboard the aircraft atall stages of the flight;
  • must not be used tocharge or powerother electronicdevices;
  • should not be placed inCabin baggagecarried in thecabin, which is placedabove the seats on the luggage racks;
  • must be in a bagor otherluggage container withpersonal belongings under the seat in front of the seat.

    Each passenger can takeno more than 2 (two) portablechargers on board the aircraft, which do not exceed the allowed battery capacity.

     The table below showsfive examples of combinations of portable chargers(Power bank) andother sparebatteries that can be taken on board the aircraft in a totalof nomore than 2 units.

Items accepted for carriage as checked baggage and hand luggage with restrictions

On flights from airports in the Republic of Uzbekistan liquids carried in hand luggage must not exceed the volume of 100ml. Liquids in containers of more than 100ml will not be accepted even in the case when the container is only partially filled. Container should be placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag of not more than 1 liter in volume, provided at the airport. Each passenger is allowed to have only one (1) transparent plastic bag of 1 liter in volume. An exception should be made for liquids bought in duty free shops at the airport or on board the aircraft, with the proviso that such a liquid packaged in a securely sealed plastic bag, in which there is good evidence that this packaging is done in airport duty-free shops or on board the aircraft in the day (s) of flight for both departing and transfer passengers.

An exception should be made for medications, baby milk / food and dietary or medical products necessary to the passenger during the flight. In the carriage of such items at the request of the Aviation Security Service, the passenger must provide evidence to support their vital need for his health. On the label / recipe of prescribed medications the indicated names of the passenger must correspond to the names of his / her boarding pass. If the medication does not apply to drugs purchased with a prescription it is required to determine the required amount for use in flight and to get permission for carriage.

Restricted the transportation of personal transport devices (unicycles, Segways, hoverboards, electric scooters)

alt

To ensure flight safety on our airline's flights, as well as on flights of other airlines, a PROHIBITION IS ESTABLISHED ON THE TRANSPORTATION IN CHECKED BAGGAGE AND HAND BAGGAGE OF SMALL PERSONAL TRANSPORT DEVICES (MONOWHEELS, SEGWAYS, HYROSCOOTERS, ELECTRIC SCOOTERS AND OTHER SIMILAR DEVICES). TYPE), driven by lithium batteries.

ывфв

Such restrictions have been introduced since December 16, 2015 by the safety standards of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), since lithium batteries are classified as “hazardous items” due to recorded cases of their spontaneous combustion.

We ask you to refrain from carrying these transport devices on our flights. Devices of this type will not be accepted for transportation and will be seized by security services.

THE AIRLINE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR BAGGAGE IF THIS BAGGAGE HAS BEEN SEIZED TO COMPLY WITH AVIATION SECURITY REQUIREMENTS.

Note:
The liquid means water and other drinks, soups, syrups, jams, stew, sauces and pastes, foods in sauces or containing large amounts of liquids, creams, lotions, cosmetics and oils, perfumes, sprays, gels, including hair and douche gels, the contents of containers under pressure, including shaving foam, other foams and deodorants, pastes, including toothpaste, a mixture of liquids with solids, mascara, lip gloss and chapstick and any products of similar consistency at room temperature.
