A ceremony to present certificates to aircraft pilots was held at the Uzbekistan Airways headquarters. Young graduates who successfully completed their training at the airline's flight school received documents confirming their qualifications and readiness for practical training on the Airbus A320.

Shukhrat Shavkatovich Khudaykulov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways JSC, delivered a welcoming speech to the participants of the event. In his address, he noted that behind the achievements of the new generation lies the rich heritage of veterans and current pilots – those who stood at the origins of civil aviation in Uzbekistan, mastered new types of aircraft, and made a significant contribution to the development of the industry.

"The pilots of our airline — both in the past and today — are respected throughout the world. This high standard remains, and you are its worthy successors. I am proud of our specialists, who continue to pass on their invaluable experience to the younger generation of pilots," he said, addressing the graduates.

Deputy Chairman of the Board for Flight Operations Shakhzod Ilyasovich Ikramov noted in his speech that the flight school continues to develop actively: to date, 15 cadets have already successfully completed their training and received pilot certificates, and another 37 are undergoing training. In the future, it is planned to recruit at least 50 cadets annually, which will become a solid foundation for the formation of a sustainable personnel reserve. He expressed his gratitude to the teachers and mentors of the Training Center for their invaluable contribution to the training of a new generation of highly qualified specialists.

Erkin Gulyamov, Deputy Director of the Training Center, also gave a speech, talking about the significant efforts being made to improve the quality of flight training. He emphasized that until 2017, there was no system for training pilots within Uzbekistan, and only with the opening of the flight school at the Training Center did the opportunity arise to train and certify young pilots at the national level.

“This work will continue. In the future, we plan to train pilots not only for our airline, but also for other air carriers in Uzbekistan. This is an important step towards the formation of a strong national aviation school,” he said.

The speech by one of the graduates, who was presented with a certificate by the Chairman of the Board, was particularly touching. He expressed his gratitude to the teachers, the airline's management, and the country for the opportunity that was previously unavailable in Uzbekistan.

The creation of the flight school was made possible thanks to the broad support of the country's leadership, as well as a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and this step became an important milestone in the development of domestic civil aviation. Today's ceremony is confirmation that the course towards developing human resources in aviation is bringing real and impressive results.
