The future of aviation is in the hands of the youth!

Today, at the head office of the Uzbekistan Airways Joint Stock Company, a ceremonial event took place, dedicated to the Day of Youth. The meeting of the leadership of the airline with young specialists proceeded in a warm, sincere, and inspiring atmosphere.

Chairman of the Board of the Uzbekistan Airways Joint Stock Company Shukhrat Khudaykulov, Hero of Uzbekistan Zarkhuja Saidazimov, and Chairman of the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Aviation Workers of Uzbekistan Alisher Mullabekov participated in the open dialogue. The main leitmotif of the meeting became an important thought: today, all conditions have been created for the youth for a brilliant start and confident career growth. The leadership emphasized that for the development of the industry, every bold idea is important, and the voice of every young employee will certainly be heard.

"Immense attention is devoted to civil aviation: new aircraft, modern airport terminals, and large-scale training. Appreciate every minute, adopt knowledge from mentors. You have everything for this!" Shukhrat Khudaykulov addressed the participants.

Special attention during the course of the conversation was paid to the matters of transparency and the countering of corruption. It was emphasized that such phenomena are a serious barrier on the path toward the development of society. The new generation of aviators must build their professional life exclusively upon the principles of integrity, high ethics, and honesty.

Zarkhuja Saidazimov shared his rich professional experience and wisdom:

"Right now I envy you in a good way. To speak honestly, when we were studying, everything was not so simple. At the present time, decisions are made very rapidly. Previously, pilots operated flights for years on one aircraft, and only then were they permitted to transition to another type. The exact same situation applies to flight attendants — prior to commencing work on board, they trained for months and even years. What I wish to say by this: simply appreciate all of this. Study, develop, respect your labor, your loved ones, and your colleagues. Do not forget that you carry the name of our Uzbekistan. Be healthy!"

A special reason for pride was the mention of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from June 29 "On the awarding of a group of active and proactive representatives of the young generation of the country in connection with the Day of Youth". An employee of Uzbekistan Airways — Firuzjon Safolov, a pilot of the Airbus 321 aircraft of the Department of Flight Service, was also honored with the high award. He is a vivid example of a purposeful, proactive, and constantly developing professional.

The meeting was supplemented by the screening of the motivating film "Dream Liners for Uzbekistan", and a pleasant conclusion to the event was the ceremonial awarding of the most proactive young employees of our team.

For their contribution to the development of the company, the following were rewarded:

• Tamanno Korieva — flight attendant of the Service of Flight Attendants;

• Abdulaziz Mavlyanov — Head of the Directorate for the Implementation of Investment Projects of the Department of Strategic Management and Investment Projects;

• Iskandar Mirzaakhmedov — aviation technician for aviation and radio-electronic equipment of the line maintenance workshop of the Main Production Directorate of the Uzbekistan Airways Technics Limited Liability Company.
