A ceremony was held at the headquarters of Uzbekistan Airways JSC to award certificates to graduates of the airline's flight school. This is the second group of young pilots trained under a unique initial training concept developed by specialists at the Uzbekistan Airways Training Center.

Ilkhom Makhamov, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Shukhrat Khudaykulov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways JSC, delivered congratulatory speeches to the graduates.

Ilkhom Makhamov highly praised the results achieved in the training of flight personnel, noting that this is an important step towards the formation of a solid personnel base for national aviation.

Sh. Khudaykulov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways JSC, emphasized that the development of civil aviation in Uzbekistan is one of the priorities of state policy and expressed his sincere gratitude to the teaching staff and instructors who have invested their experience and knowledge in the training of new pilots.

The following individuals received Airbus A320 pilot certificates: Abdullaev S. U., Akromkhujaev Sh. B., Gulomov J. M., Ikramov U. Sh., Kenjaev T. B., Mukhamedov M. M., Mukhsimov J. D., Kurbonov O. B. They will soon begin flying as part of the Uzbekistan Airways crew.

“We plan to continue training pilots, as we have big plans ahead to increase our fleet and expand our route network. Leading such a strong and talented team of specialists, I can say with confidence that we will successfully fulfill the tasks set by our esteemed President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. I wish you a rich and interesting flying career, and may the number of takeoffs always equal the number of landings,” said the Chairman of the Board in his farewell speech.

Special thanks were expressed to the instructors and teachers who passed on their theoretical and practical knowledge to the younger generation throughout the training process. These include German Grigorievich Malygin, Konstantin Alexandrovich Kalichko, Avaz Egamberdievich Kambarov, Bakhrom Mannapovich Narkhodjaev, Vladislav Markovich Argov, and others.

It is worth noting that Uzbekistan Airways JSC is actively developing partnerships with the country's leading universities. Starting in the 2024/2025 academic year, agreements have been in place with Tashkent State Transport University in the field of “Aircraft Flight Operations” and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent in the field of “Aerospace Engineering.”

The training program is organized in a 2+2 format: two years of study at a university and two years at a flight school at the airline's Training Center.

In this way, Uzbekistan Airways is not only training a new generation of professional pilots, but also forming a modern aviation education system that meets international standards.
