Washington, November 6, 2025 — Uzbekistan Airways Expands Its Boeing 787 Dreamliner Order

On November 6, 2025, in Washington, D.C., within the framework of the C5+1 Summit, a signing ceremony was held between Uzbekistan Airways and Boeing for the conversion of options into a firm order for eight Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. The agreement was signed by Shukhrat Khudaykulov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways, and Paul Righi, Boeing’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

With this agreement, the national carrier of Uzbekistan now holds a total of 22 firm orders for the state-of-the-art widebody Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The addition of these aircraft will enable Uzbekistan Airways to further expand its international route network and strengthen its position in the global aviation market.

The signing ceremony took place at the C5+1 Summit in Washington, DC, and was witnessed by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick and Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov.
