Uzbekistan Airways received the 24th Airbus A320neo

Today, May 8, the fleet of Uzbekistan Airways has been replenished with another Airbus A320neo. According to tradition, the airliner was greeted with a water arch at the Tashkent International Airport.

Airbus A320neo with registration number UK32029 arrived from Taiwan and has a two-class layout with 170 seats: 8 business class seats and 162 economy class seats. A distinctive feature of the board is the black frame around the cockpit windows. To paint the aircraft, one of the best enamels in the aviation industry was chosen - AKZO NOBLE BCC. The aircraft was delivered under long-term leasing terms.

The ferrying was carried out by experienced airline pilots – Deputy flight squad commander Evgeniy Nagai and aircraft commander Farhad Latypov. Flight attendant-instructor Dinara Dadabaeva also took part in the acceptance of the aircraft. Very soon the aircraft will accept its first passengers and begin operating regular and charter flights.

Airbus A320neo is the new generation of the popular Airbus A320 family of narrow-body aircraft. The abbreviation “neo” stands for “New Engine Option”, which reduces fuel consumption, operating costs and emissions, and also increases flight range and payload capacity.

Today, the Airbus A320neo aircraft type is one of the best medium-haul airliners in the world, which demonstrates the highest level of safety and efficiency. It is worth noting that the level of nitrogen oxide emissions has been reduced by 20%, compared to the previous generation, which makes the aircraft the most environmentally friendly in comparison with similar medium-haul aircraft.
