Uzbekistan Airways continues to advance its fleet renewal and expansion program. As part of this strategy, the airline has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Chinese leasing company ICBC Aviation Leasing for the delivery of two new Airbus A321neo aircraft under a lease agreement.
The aircraft, featuring a two-class cabin configuration, are scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2028. These will be the first aircraft received by Uzbekistan Airways through its partnership with ICBC Aviation Leasing, marking a new milestone in the airline’s collaboration with global lessors and strengthening its international presence in the aviation leasing market.

The new Airbus A321neo aircraft will be equipped with Airbus’s advanced Airspace Premium cabins, a modern in-flight entertainment system, and onboard internet connectivity. These features will provide passengers with enhanced comfort and seamless access to digital services throughout their journey.

The introduction of these aircraft will increase the Uzbekistan Airways A321neo fleet to 15 units by 2028, further supporting the airline’s long-term strategy to modernize its fleet and improve operational efficiency.
This cooperation with ICBC Aviation Leasing underscores Uzbekistan Airways’ commitment to fostering international partnerships, expanding its fleet with modern and fuel-efficient aircraft, and offering passengers new opportunities for comfortable and safe travel.
