Uzbekistan Airways advocates for a healthy lifestyle

Today, June 26, on the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, an informational event took place for employees of the airline at the head office of the Uzbekistan Airways Joint Stock Company. The meeting was dedicated to the prevention of addiction, the prevention of offenses within this sphere, and the popularization of a healthy lifestyle.

As invited experts, prosecutor Sh. Mamadjanov of the Tashkent Aviation Transport Prosecutor Office and narcologist M. Muminova of the Tashkent City Branch for Narcological Service of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Mental Health addressed the staff. The specialists spoke in detail regarding the medical and legal aspects of the problem. 

It is important to note that such educational initiatives encompassed not only the head office. At all enterprises incorporated within the Uzbekistan Airways Joint Stock Company, round tables and lectures featuring the participation of law enforcement officers and representatives of healthcare institutions were also organized.

Within the framework of the conducted meetings, participants were shown a short social video vividly illustrating the destructive consequences of the consumption of narcotic substances and explaining the strict responsibility for crimes within this sphere stipulated by legislation.
