Opening Uzbekistan to Europe: the results of the exhibition Travel Trade Gazette Rimini 2026

Within October, the team of Uzbekistan Airways successfully presented the country at the international tourist exhibition Travel Trade Gazette Rimini 2026 within Italy.

Within the framework of the event, we conducted a series of productive meetings with the travelers and the largest tour operators, among which are ALPI tur, Columbia tourismo, Boscolo, and PirateHoliday. The main theme of the negotiations became the development of the domestic tourism of Uzbekistan and the increase of the passenger traffic upon the flights, connecting Rome and Milan with Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Urgench.

The national stand of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the plans concerning the expansion of the route network against the background of the imminent replenishment of the fleet of our aircraft aroused great interest of the European press. The Italian journalist Federico Vason during the communication with the team emphasized an important trend: the combination of the unique architecture of the Soviet period within Tashkent and the ancient monuments of the Great Silk Road creates an ideal contrasting itinerary, which today is incredibly attractive for the tourists from Europe.
