Incident on Board Flight HY272 Istanbul – Tashkent

Uzbekistan Airways JSC would like to inform the public about an incident that occurred on June 16, 2025, on board flight HY272 operating the Istanbul – Tashkent route.

During the flight, a female passenger began to loudly argue with her spouse, disrupting public order on board. Despite repeated requests from other passengers and the crew to stop her unacceptable behavior, she continued to act aggressively and became involved in a conflict with other passengers.

Her actions posed a threat to order and comfort on the flight, violating the established rules of conduct aboard a civil aircraft.

Upon landing at Tashkent International Airport, the disruptive passenger was handed over to the Security Department staff at Tashkent’s international airports for further investigation in accordance with current legislation.
