Employees of Uzbekistan Airways participated in an ecological khashar in the Akhangaran district

On June 13 and 14 of the current year, a large-scale ecological khashar, uniting representatives of the transport industry of the country, took place on the territory of the Park of Transport Workers in the Akhangaran district of the Tashkent region. Employees of the Uzbekistan Airways Joint Stock Company also took an active part in the beautification. The event was organized in fulfillment of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Transport within the framework of the implementation of the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy and the expansion of the Yashil Makon nationwide project.

During the two-day ecological campaign, employees of the airline, in collaboration with colleagues from the industry, conducted comprehensive beautification works on the territory of the park. The participants of the voluntary community labor paid special attention to the care of green plantings, the cleaning of public zones, and the creation of a favorable environment. The invested labor became a practical contribution to the improvement of the ecological situation and the increase of the area of green territories in the region.
