At Uzbekistan Airways, great attention is paid to developing human capital and supporting young specialists. On September 29, the Chairman of the Board of JSC “Uzbekistan Airways,” Shukhrat Khudaykulov, held a meeting with the youth of the airline, attended by representatives from all structural divisions.


Young employees had the opportunity to directly ask their questions and share suggestions. For example, an employee of the Uzbekistan Airways Marketing Department noted: “It would be more useful for us to become acquainted with the work of the airport divisions and learn how preparations for each flight are organized.”


Shukhrat Khudaykulov supported the initiative: “You have made a very important suggestion. A full understanding of every process will only benefit us. I myself worked in different positions, including in the commercial department, and I know well how important it is to ‘feel the working atmosphere.’ Your proposal will be forwarded to the appropriate structures.”

An employee of Uzbekistan Airways Technics voiced another proposal: “We would be glad if, when making appointments, greater preference were given to young specialists from within the industry.”

To this, the Chairman of the Board replied: “Of course, this is very reasonable. It is important that leadership positions are taken by energetic professionals who know the field and can properly assess situations. In our airline, there are many specialists who have proven themselves through hard work and, over time, have taken up leadership roles.”

During the open dialogue, issues such as professional development, provision of discounted air tickets, equipping with modern technology, and the work of trade unions were also discussed. Young employees from Uzbekistan Airways Technics, Catering, the Training Center, and Silk Avia took an active part in the conversation. Their questions and proposals were addressed not only by the Chairman of the Board but also by his deputies.

Shukhrat Khudaykulov emphasized that the contribution of each employee is valuable for the overall success of the airline: “Uzbekistan Airways is always open to dialogue. Such meetings will be held regularly, and every proposal will be carefully considered. After all, it is your ideas that help us grow and move forward.”
