Care, which inspires: investments into the well-being of the employees and of the families of the employees

At the foundation of any successful business, people always stand, and for us within Uzbekistan Airways, the corporate social responsibility is not merely words, but real actions, directed toward the support of those who are in need of this the most.

During the past weekend, on the five and the six of September, a special out-of-town wellness event took place within the picturesque recreation zone of Edelweiss. It was organized specifically for the employees of our airline, raising children with limited possibilities, and also for those colleagues who are the sole breadwinner within the family. This initiative, implemented within the harmonious course of the national strategy of "Uzbekistan – 2030", became an important step within the strengthening of the health, the development of the corporate unity, and the creation of a warm, trusting atmosphere inside our large team.

During the course of two days, 53 participants — our employees and the children of the employees — were able to immerse themselves within the atmosphere of carefree joy, to distract themselves from the everyday chores, and simply to be together. The program was thought out to the details: from a captivating pirate quest, which erased the boundaries between the adults and the children, having united the participants into cohesive teams, to a relaxing rest within the summer and the winter pools against the background of the beautiful nature.

The evening musical and entertaining program filled these days with sincere smiles, kind contests, and lively communication. We saw the main thing — how important it is to give people an opportunity to reboot, to sense the shoulder of a colleague, and to realize oneself as a part of a unified, caring corporate family.

We express a sincere gratitude for this holiday to the Trade Union Committee of the Joint Stock Company of "Uzbekistan Airways", which fully financed the given event, and also to the Social Department of the airline for the flawless organization and the sensitive attitude toward every guest.

Such projects prove: the true altitude of the airline is measured not only by the quantity of the executed flights, but also by how the airline cares about the people. We are proud that we build an environment within which mutual assistance, empathy, and sincere human involvement reign.

Let these bright emotions become a source of new energy for our colleagues, and we will continue to develop the initiatives, thanks to which every employee senses the personal significance. Because happy families are the foundation of our common success!
