Sometimes, due to our busy schedule and lack of free time, our children need to fly alone. Do you know what is required for children to fly alone, and how this process is carried out? Familiarize yourself with the rules for transporting children on Uzbekistan Airways flights and trust us with the safety of your children during the flight.

According to the passenger transportation rules of JSC Uzbekistan Airways, citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan between 5 and 16 ages can travel unaccompanied only on domestic flights of the airline. It requires these: children‘s birth certificates or passports.

Children under the age of 2 must be accompanied by an adult passenger who has reached the age of 18.

In addition, if unaccompanied children who are not citizens of Uzbekistan are returning to their country, transportation is carried out in accordance with the laws, regulations and instructions of the departure or arrival countries.

For unaccompanied children transportation it will be charged an additional fee of 100,000 soums for special services provided during transportation when purchasing an airline ticket (in Uzbekistan territory). In case of voluntary or mandatory return of the unaccompanied child’s airline ticket, this fee will be refunded in full.

Children will be under the supervision of ground staff at the airport of departure and arrival, and flight attendants during the flight. If no one meets the unaccompanied child at the point of arrival, the airline representative or authorized agent shall make the necessary decisions to ensure the child‘s safety based on the “Parent or Guardian’s Declaration”, including returning the child to the airport of original departure or to the country of destination.
