Attention Travelers to Vietnam

Are you planning a journey to Vietnam? Important information regarding new entry regulations 

The Immigration Department of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is introducing a mandatory electronic registration (Pre-Arrival Information) for all foreign citizens arriving in the country.

The new requirement comes into effect on June 22, 2026, and extends to all passengers, commencing with Uzbekistan Airways flight HY561 on June 23.

What is necessary to complete prior to departure:

1. Complete the immigration form on the official portal: https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn (or by means of scanning the QR code).

2. Submit the application no earlier than 72 hours prior to crossing the border at an airport of Vietnam.

3. Save the obtained QR code to your smartphone or print it out in order to present it at border control.

The new digital format has been introduced for your convenience: it will automate the verification of data and substantially reduce the time required for passing passport control upon arrival.
