Within the lens — the love toward the Motherland: the results of the festive photo contest of Uzbekistan Airways

On the seventh of September, within the central office of the Joint Stock Company of "Uzbekistan Airways", the final of the inspiring corporate photo contest took place, timed to two significant events: the 35 anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Day of the Air Fleet. The main leitmotif of this creative competition was the deep and important theme: "By a united Motherland, by a united people we will build a new life, a new future!".

Within the hall of the company, a real art gallery unfolded, where every photograph became a declaration of love toward the native land. The event was organized with a noble goal — to unite the employees, especially young specialists, around common creative values, to strengthen the corporate spirit, and also to support the sense of patriotism and selflessness. Through the lens of the camera, our colleagues were able to express the unique vision of the beauty, the majesty, and the development of modern Uzbekistan.

The conditions of the contest demanded sincerity and genuine mastery from the participants. Every contestant presented two original works within the printed A3 size format. A strict rule was the complete absence of plagiarism and a prohibition upon the usage of neural networks or third-party images from the internet — only a lively, honest view of the author.

A competent jury evaluated the works according to three key criteria. The experts considered the original approach of the author, flawless technical aspects of execution (such as sharpness, color rendition, and focusing), and also the "wow-effect" — the ability of a photograph to evoke genuine emotions, depth of perception, and memorability.

The struggle of talents turned out to be incredibly captivating. According to the results of a strict selection, the commission determined five triumphators, whose works gained the highest quantity of points. The absolute leader with a result of 279 points became the head of the tourism department Adolat Dosanova. Honorary places within the top were also confidently taken by the engineer of the technical maintenance workshop of the Limited Liability Company of "Uzbekistan Airways Technics" Bakhtiyer Akhundzhanov (275 points) and the specialist of the Management of Marketing and Development of Commerce Akhmadbek Mukhtarov (274 points). Within the brilliant five of the best with an identical result of 272 points entered the representatives of the Limited Liability Company of "Uzbekistan Airways Technics" — the instructor-methodologist Muzaffar Mirzayev and the personnel engineer Andrey Vavilin.

The creativity and the devotion to the duty of our winners received high recognition. As a main gift, every one of the five finalists received from Uzbekistan Airways a certificate for two service flight tickets with an open date for an unforgettable journey to the most beautiful tourist cities of our country. This is a wonderful opportunity to embark upon a path and to personally capture even more picturesque corners of Uzbekistan! In addition, the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Aviation Workers prepared a pleasant solid monetary reward for the winners, and on behalf of the leadership of the airline, special commemorative gifts were presented to the authors of the best works.
