Once a week, «Uzbekistan Airways» will tell you about the places, which you should visit during the trip. Today you will learn in detail about the style of architecture of the Old City in Tbilisi, about which part of the city is famous for what and how much a trip from Uzbekistan to Georgia will cost.

At the foot of the imposing hill crowned with the Narikala fortress, the Old City of Tbilisi rises along the slopes – this is a labyrinth of narrow streets where new and ancient architecture of all colors of the rainbow meets. The area is located on both sides of the Kura River and is dominated by Mount Mtatsminda, Narikala Fortress and Kartlis Deda monument.

The city is composed of a mixture of two influences: the narrow winding streets of the Asian or Arabian style combine with European, classical Russian and Art Nouveau architecture. The northern region is the Abanotubani area, famous for sulfur baths and Meidani square with many restaurants. The heart of the Old City is Kote Abkhazi Street, which connects Meidani with Freedom Square. The northeastern part of the city is called Chardeni. It is a small area with restaurants and cafes. In the west, the Old Town smoothly turns into the Sololaki district, which is characteristic of true Tbilisi architecture.

Together with Uzbekistan Airways, you can go to Tbilisi three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
