Uzbekistan Airways Held a Crafts and Book Fair in Honor of Independence Day

On August 20, the headquarters of “Uzbekistan Airways” JSC hosted a fair of national crafts, folk applied arts, and books to celebrate the 34th anniversary of the Republic of Uzbekistan's independence.

The event was a real treat for guests: in the cozy atmosphere of an oriental bazaar, the best examples of national art were presented – bright satin and adras fabrics, traditional ceramics, delicate wood carvings, exquisite suzani, jewelry, and applied art objects created by talented craftsmen. Each visitor was able to find not only beautiful things for themselves, but also to learn the rich cultural heritage of our country.

The book fair attracted particular attention, where publications on the culture and history of Uzbekistan, fiction and non-fiction, as well as children's books were presented.

Airline employees took an active part in the celebration. For them, it was a wonderful opportunity to get involved in art, discover new facets of national creativity, and feel pride in the rich traditions of their homeland. The atmosphere of the fair united colleagues in a spirit of friendship and respect for cultural heritage, filling the working day with warmth and inspiration.
