Uzbekistan Airways announces amendments to fees charging rules for changing/refunding airline tickets

From April 05, 2023, the change/refund charge is determined by the time of the refund/reissue/rebooking transaction of the ticket and does not depend on the time of seat cancelation in the PNR.

Thus, if the transaction of refund/reissue/rebooking of an airline ticket is made more than 1 hour before the departure of the flight specified in the airline ticket, the established charge is collected in accordance with the rules of applicable fares. In case, the transaction of refund/reissue/rebooking is made less than 1 hour before the flight departure time or after it, an additional NO-SHOW charge will be applied.

At the same time, considering the current rules for non-refundable fares, according to which, rebooking / reissuing of an airline ticket is prohibited in case of NO-SHOW, the above transactions must be conducted more than 1 hour before the flight departure time, otherwise it will be impossible to use transportation on such airline ticket in the future.
