Uzbekistan Airways and Dubai-based airline flydubai proudly announce the conclusion of a strategic interline agreement, a landmark accord which will seamlessly unite the route networks of the two airlines and will bestow upon the passengers an unprecedented freedom for journeys through Dubai and Tashkent.
Thanks to this visionary cooperation, the passengers of Uzbekistan Airways will gain access to more than 40 captivating destinations of flydubai with a flawless connection within Dubai. The travelers of flydubai, in turn, will be able to prolong the voyage along the expansive route network of Uzbekistan Airways through Tashkent — toward the magnificent cities of Uzbekistan, of Russia, and of Europe.
Already from the 21 of September of the year 2026, magnificent new variants of flights with a connection within Dubai will grace the official website of Uzbekistan Airways. Among them are the destinations which previously remained outside the route network of the airline: Addis Ababa within Ethiopia, Krabi within Thailand, Nairobi within Kenya, and Zanzibar within Tanzania.
Even more abundant variants will emerge within the Middle East, including Amman in Jordan, Bahrain and Doha in Qatar. For inspiring journeys and for a serene rest, Pisa and Naples within Italy, Muscat and Salalah within Oman, and Male within the Maldives become available. And this represents only a fraction of the destinations which will become accessible through the route network of flydubai.
For the passengers of flydubai, new possibilities will blossom already from the 15 of September. Utilizing the route network of Uzbekistan Airways, the passengers of the airline from the United Arab Emirates will be able to seamlessly continue the journey through Tashkent to such prominent Russian cities as Irkutsk and Krasnoyarskand also to the grandest European capitals and metropolises — Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, and Rome. In addition, through Tashkent the customers of flydubai can benefit from travelling to the historic and popular cities of Uzbekistan, including Bukhara, Fergana, and Urgench.
As a majestic result, the passengers of both airlines receive a wealth of variants for global journeys: it will be possible to flawlessly plan the route through Dubai or Tashkent, choosing the most convenient and elegant variant in absolute dependence upon the final point of the destination.
Not less important is the exquisite manner by which the flight itself will be organized. Within the framework of the interline agreement, the passengers will be able to issue a single ticket for the entire global route. At the exact same time, it will be possible to register the baggage immediately to the final point of the destination, a service which will make the transfer significantly more effortless. The profound possibility to receive a single boarding pass for all the segments of the route will be added at a later stage.
"We are pleased to begin a new chapter of cooperation between Uzbekistan Airways and flydubai. The signing of commercial agreements between our airlines will enable us to leverage the strengths of our respective route networks, expand the choice of destinations for our passengers, and make international travel even more convenient. We are confident that this partnership will create new opportunities for our passengers and contribute to further strengthening Uzbekistan’s position as one of Central Asia’s key aviation hubs" — noted Shukhrat Khudaykulov, the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, the Chief Executive Officer of flydubai, noted: “Our interline agreement with Uzbekistan Airways will further enhance the connectivity we offer between the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan, giving our customers greater choice and more convenient travel options. Since the launch of our flights to Tashkent in 2019, we have seen consistent demand for travel between the two markets. As we continue to grow our network and strengthen our partnerships, we remain committed to facilitating increased trade and tourism between our countries while supporting Dubai’s position as a global aviation hub and a gateway connecting east and west.”
