President of Uzbekistan awarded Order of the Republic of Serbia

As part of the program of events in Belgrade, a ceremony was held to award President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev Serbia’s highest state award, the Order of the Republic of Serbia on the Grand Collar.

The Order was presented to the President of Uzbekistan by President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia in recognition of his outstanding contribution to strengthening multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Serbia.

Expressing deep gratitude for the high honor, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that he regards it as a symbol of the Serbian people’s deep respect for Uzbekistan, the strengthening of friendship, and a firm commitment to the further development of bilateral relations.

The Order of the Republic of Serbia is awarded to prominent foreign figures for their outstanding contribution to strengthening peace, cooperation, and mutual understanding among peoples, as well as to developing friendly relations with Serbia.
