The people who became a part of the history of Uzbekistan Airways

A special meeting took place within Uzbekistan Airways. On this day, the leadership and the colleagues gathered together in order to express gratitude to the pilots concluding the flight activity – to the people who dedicated the years of life to the aviation and to our airline.

For every person, the conclusion of a professional stage is an important life milestone. The reasons and the circumstances can be different, but one thing remains unchanged – the contribution which a person leaves behind. For a pilot, this is thousands of hours within the sky, hundreds of routes and flights, the responsibility for the passengers and the crew, the experience, the knowledge, and the professional traditions, transferred to the colleagues.

The Chairman of the Board of the Joint Stock Company of "Uzbekistan Airways" Shukhrat Khudaykulov addressed the pilots with words of gratitude. He thanked everyone for the long-term conscientious labor, the professionalism, the responsibility, and the devotion to the duty.

The words of the Chairman sounded especially warmly about the fact that the conclusion of the flight activity does not mean a separation from the airline. Every one of the pilots remains a part of the large team of Uzbekistan Airways. The Chairman emphasized that the airline is ready to utilize the priceless professional experience and the knowledge of these aviators further on. Upon a desire, they will be able to continue the work upon the ground, to participate within the preparation and the education of young pilots, or to find an application for the experience within other directions of the activity of the airline.

Words of gratitude also sounded in the address of the pilots from the leaders of Uzbekistan Airways. They spoke about the joint work, the complex and responsible flights, the professional mastery, and about that special flight culture, which is created and transferred from one generation of aviators to another.

On this day, the words of gratitude were addressed to four pilots.

Oleg Serverovich Yagyaev dedicated several decades to the civil aviation. Over the years of work, he mastered the Yakovlev 40, the Regional Jet 85, the Airbus 310, and the aircraft of the Boeing family, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, having traversed a professional path from a second pilot to a commander of an aircraft and a pilot-instructor. The total flight time of this professional constituted 19 696 hours.

Alexander Valentinovich Shabanov over the years of the flight work mastered the Yakovlev 40, the Regional Jet 85, the Boeing aircraft, the Airbus 320, and the Boeing 787. In the year 2022, the labor of this aviator was marked by the Order of "Dustlik".

Mukhtar Makkamdzhanovich Kamildzhanov traversed a large professional path, having mastered the Yakovlev 40, the Ilyushin 62, the Regional Jet 85, the Boeing 757, and the Boeing 767. Behind the shoulders of this pilot are the work as a second pilot and a commander of an aircraft and several thousand hours within the sky.

Daniil Mendelyevich Simaev began the flight activity upon the Ilyushin 114-100, then continued the work upon the Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft, traversed a path from a second pilot to a commander of an aircraft and a pilot-instructor.

At the conclusion of the meeting, commemorative gifts and flowers were presented to the pilots. A common photograph with the leadership and the colleagues became one more warm memory about the day, when instead of a formal "goodbye" the main word sounded – "thank you". Oleg Serverovich, Alexander Valentinovich, Mukhtar Makkamdzhanovich, Daniil Mendelyevich – thank you for the labor and for the years given to the aviation.
