A ceremony to award certificates to a new generation of pilots was held at our Training Center. This marks the third successful graduating class of the School, which was established as a division of the airline.

The implementation of such a large-scale educational project was made possible thanks to the comprehensive support of the country’s leadership and a successful partnership with a leading European company specializing in comprehensive flight crew training.

The ceremony was attended by Shahzod Ikramov, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Flight Operations; Sergey Kim, Director of the Flight Operations Department; and Rustam Turabov, Director of the Training Center, as well as airline employees and graduates. The executives emphasized the strategic importance of training the airline’s own highly qualified personnel for the development of the industry.

A significant milestone: The graduates received certifications to fly Airbus A320 family aircraft, which currently make up more than half of Uzbekistan Airways’ fleet.

In his welcoming remarks, Shahzod Ikramov noted the importance of the journey they had undertaken:

“We are delighted to welcome new members to our ranks. I want future pilots to always remember: your time studying in Uzbekistan and abroad required tremendous dedication, and our instructors poured their hearts into you. I wish you good luck and welcome you to the Uzbekistan Airways team!”.

Special attention was paid to the immense responsibility that this profession demands. Erkin Guliamov, Deputy Director of the Flight Training Center, offered words of encouragement to the young professionals:

“Two years have flown by, and today you are pilots. Always remember that there are people counting on you, and you are responsible for them. May you have clear skies!”.

At the conclusion of the event, the young pilots were presented with their long-awaited certificates and commemorative gifts.

We sincerely congratulate our graduates! We are proud of your achievements and wish you safe flights!
