A chess tournament was held at Uzbekistan Airways

On the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a traditional chess tournament took place among the employees of our airline.

Sports competitions have already become a good tradition for our large team. Following the official draw, the participants met at the chessboards in order to demonstrate their intellectual mastery and logic.

For us, chess is more than simply a game for a result. This is a sport in which mutual respect always stands in the first place. Each game becomes an honest dialogue of two minds, where the strongest strategy wins, and following the final handshake, the opponents invariably remain good friends. According to the results of the intellectual battles, the winners of the tournament were solemnly awarded with valuable gifts.
