Uzbekistan airways increases frequency of flights to Kazakhstan

The Civil Aviation Committee of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan at the meeting in Astana agreed to  increase the number of  flights between the largest cities of the country. 

As a result of negotiations, the number of flights on operating routes between Tashkent and Astana will increase from 4 to 6 per week, and between Tashkent and Almaty from 7 to 10 per week for each of the parties.  In total, the National air company will be able to carry out 32 flights a week on these routes. 

Also, an agreement was reached on signing the Code-Sher Agreement between the NAC "Uzbekistan Airways" and "AirAstana". The specialists of the NAC have already begun preparing the necessary documentation for concluding this mutually beneficial commercial agreement. 

The sides also agreed that the already achieved results will contribute to the development of tourism, economic and trade ties, as well as, to reaching a new level of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the aviation sphere.

Currently, the NAC "Uzbekistan Airways" operates flights on comfortable A320 planes to Almaty daily, to Astana 4 times a week - on the first, fourth, sixth and seventh days of the week.
