Uzbekistan Airways and Honeywell: cooperation is developing
Today, October 30, a meeting was held in the Directorate of Uzbekistan Airways with the delegation of Honeywell Corporation, USA, headed by Shane Tedjarati, President High Growth Regions.
The agreement on this meeting was reached within the framework of the annual Uzbek-American business forum held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on October 23, 2018.
During the talks, the Uzbekistan Airways management and representatives of the U.S. Corporation discussed current cooperation and its further development. In particular, issues were considered related with air traffic services (ATS), maintenance and repair of Uzbekistan Airways aircraft, as well as modernization of Honeywell components installed on the airline’s airliners.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their mutual interest in strengthening cooperation and agreed to organize a seminar in Tashkent at the end of November 2018 for Uzbekistan Airways engineering and technical staff.
For reference: Honeywell is a software-industrial company that delivers industry specific solutions that include aerospace products and services; control technologies for buildings and industry; and performance materials globally. Aerospace business includes aircraft engines, aircraft propulsion, cockpit systems, satellite communications for commercial and defense aircraft.
The U.S. Corporation started its activities in Uzbekistan more than 20 years ago, in aviation, process automation, oil refining and gas processing solutions and control systems.
