Pilgrims from Pakistan arrived to Uzbekistan

A group of tourists from Pakistan arrived by the flight HY 462 of Uzbekistan Airways on the route Lahore-Tashkent on March 30, 2018. 135 pilgrims visited to Uzbekistan under the special program of pilgrimage ("ziyorat") tourism.

Pakistani pilgrims were solemnly greeted by the representative of the NAC in Lahore, heads of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of local travel companies, hotels and the media at the Tashkent International Airport named after I.Karimov.

The head of the tourist group and the organizer of the trip, Mr. Qasim Ali Shah (a well-known journalist in Pakistan, the owner of a network of several hundred educational schools for children, a writer, philanthropist) very warmly spoke about Uzbekistan, its history, culture, historical sights, traditions and customs of the Uzbek people, as well as the rapidly developing relations between the states and peoples of the two countries in his interview with Uzbek journalists.

135 pilgrims from Pakistan will get acquainted with the rich and ancient history of our country and visit the shrines of the Islamic religion during the cognitive tour on Samarkand and Bukhara.

The guests after the pilgrimage to sacred places in Uzbekistan will fly to Lahore by the flight HY 463 on April 4, 2018.
