On March 2, at 09:59 pm Moscow time, the Uzbekistan Airways’ Boeing-767 UK67008 aircraft, when operating its regular passenger flight HY631 en route Tashkent – St. Petersburg, after landing at Pulkovo International airport, when taxiing partially, the front wheels of the chassis went down to the ground. The aircraft has no damage; emergency evacuation of passengers was not required.
Weather conditions, the state of the runway and taxiway could possibly cause this incident.
Onboard, there were 241 passengers and 15 crew members.
The Investigative Committee of the Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency are investigating the events at Pulkovo Airport.
In connection with the incident, the departure of flight HY632 / 02MAR19 was delayed. The Uzbekistan Airways’ representative office in St. Petersburg is working to accommodate passengers of the delayed flight at the hotel.
