From October 1, 2019, citizens of 53 foreign countries can obtain an electronic visa to enter the Russian Federation through air, sea, car and pedestrian checkpoints located in Far Eastern Federal District, Kaliningrad District, St. Petersburg and Leningrad Districts.
An electronic visa is valid for entry into the Russian Federation and exit from the Russian Federation only through checkpoints across the State border of the Russian Federation located in Far Eastern Federal District, Kaliningrad District, St. Petersburg and Leningrad Districts.
Due to Pakistani airspace closure for commercial flights and overflights since 27th February 2019, Uzbekistan Airways was forced to make changes to its scheduled flights to Amritsar, Delhi, Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Bangkok, which usually fly over Afganistan, Pakistan and India airspaces.
