When entering Urumqi on visas of categories M, F, Q, S, the Border Guard Service of the People’s Republic of China requires passengers to provide an invitation from the Chinese side (travel agency / relative / company) on the basis of which the visa was issued.

Due to Pakistani airspace closure for commercial flights and overflights since 27th February 2019, Uzbekistan Airways was forced to make changes to its scheduled flights to Amritsar, Delhi, Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Bangkok, which usually fly over Afganistan, Pakistan and India airspaces.
All flights to/from Amritsar, Delhi, Mumbai, Kuala-Lumpur, Bangkok and Singapore were rerouted to operate over Turkmenistan, Iran and Oman airspaces, which added 2-3 hours to normal flight times.
Changeover of Domodedovo airport to Vnukovo – tickets refund free of charge
Dear passengers of the flights of Uzbekistan Airways to Moscow or back!
In case of any inconvenience caused by the changeover of the Domodedovo to the Vnukovo airport in Moscow, Uzbekistan Airways provides you with an opportunity to refund the flights from Uzbekistan to Moscow and back with the date of departure on October 28 and later without paying additional charges for the refund. This rule applies to the entire validity of the ticket, the destination of which is specified as Domodedovo airport.
From October 30, 2018, Uzbekistan Airways flights to Paris will be transferred from Terminal 2C to Terminal 2A of Charles de Gaulle Airport (Paris).
We also remind that since October 5, 2018, visa-free regime has been established for citizens of France on the territory of Uzbekistan for a period of 30 days from the date of entry.

From February 10, 2018, a visa-free regime is introduced for 30 days period for citizens of 7 countries: Japan, Indonesia, Israel, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Turkey.
